Yes. No matter what state you receive the ticket in, it will most likely affect your record. Since 2005, all states share traffic infraction information so no matter where you got the ticket, the state from which you have your license, will have a record of it.
You also must pay all tickets, no matter where they are issued. If you fail to pay a ticket in a different state, it will be on your record and you will have to take care of it eventually. If you fail to pay it, your issuing state may suspend your license, the same way they would if you had the unpaid ticket in your home state.
