Your roommate is not covered under your policy. As a matter of fact, everybody else would be covered by most insurance policy except your roommate. It
is assumed that people living with you drive our car too often to not be specifically listed, while those not living in your house would only be very
occasional drivers.

Many people lend their roommates their car on a regular basis, especially in college. This is a mistake as far as insurance is concerned. If your
roommate, boyfriend or girlfriend, child, parent or any other person who lives in the same house as you wants to be covered while driving your car,
they must be specifically listed on the insurance.

If you do want to list other drivers, your premium will go up and the premium will be based on your’s as well as their driving record and insurance
profile.
